Fire Alarm Call Point Covers

Call point covers were advised to be fitted in a revision of British Standard 5839:2017 Part 1, as a means to preventing false alarms. One of the key reasons for false alarms turned out to be accidental activation – caused by things like hospital trolleys banging the manual call point, causing it to alarm.
