Addressable Fire Alarm Call Points
The purpose of a manual call point is to trigger a fire alarm system into what is know as a state of 'full fire,' before the detection circuit may have been activated. On discovering a fire this allows the occupants to perform a controlled evacuation of a building
As part of an addressable fire alarm system, each call point that is intalled is provided with a unique address, which is signalled at the panel also showing a descriptive loaction. This allows for authorised personnel to quickly identify the exact device that has been activated, and saves time for the emergency services to locate the origin of the fire.
