Sealmaster Masterseal is a unique water based product which is easy to use and dries to form a semiflexible seal with both intumescent and fire- resisting capabilities. This combination of properties make Masterseal one of the best fire resisting sealants on the market. Tests have shown that it is economical to use because a relatively small amount of sealant is required to give considerable periods of fire resistance. the main programme of testing has involved horizontal joints in ceilings and vertical joints in walls as these are regarded as the most onerous applications.
